Each Local authority is required to have an up-to-date homeless strategy. This is a statutory instrument required for the delivery of homeless services. The current one is under extension until October 2023, but requires a further extension of 6 months, while a new strategy is written. This work has commenced but will not be completed prior to the old strategy expiring. To be legally compliant Arun must have a homeless strategy that is in date.
