Following 6 October decision of Planning
Policy Committee on the approach to plan making - this report asks
members to agree the Local Development Scheme (LDS) be recommend to
Full Council for adoption. The LDS is the local authority’s
plan making programme and resource plan for updating the Arun Local
Plan and any other Development Plan Documents. The LDS timetable
needs to be kept up to date to inform PINS resource planning and
the LDS forms evidence on legal compliance which is tested at Local
Plan examination.
