Shaun was first elected to Arun District Council in 2019, representing Rustington East since then. From 2019-2020 he was Shadow Cabinet Member for Technical Services, and since May 2020 has been Leader of the Conservative Group and Leader of the Opposition (2020-2021; 2023-present) and Leader of the Council (2021-2023).
Shaun has lived in Rustington his whole life and works from home as a communications consultant. Outside of work and politics, he has been active in a number of charities, and enjoys reading (especially Tolkien) and Lego in his spare time.
