The Directorate has an existing policy which
was adopted in 2017.Revision of the existing policy is now due.
Revision is required to ensure that the service is delivered in
accordance with updated government statutory and non-statutory
guidance. It is good practice that policies are reviewed
periodically, and that this policy should be reviewed at least
every five years. The relevant byelaws require amending and
updating in line with proposals.
