Exempt Information

The Committee is asked to consider passing the following resolution: -

 

That under Section 100a (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and accredited representatives of newspapers be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act by virtue of the paragraph specified against the item.

LICENSING ACT 2003 S51 APPLICATION FOR A REVIEW OF A PREMISES LICENCE - EXEMPT PARAGRAPH 7 OF PART 1 OF SCHEDULE 12A OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

An application for the review of a premises licence relating to Pop In, 14 High Street, Littlehampton, West Sussex, BN17 5EEhas been received from a responsible authority that details issues at the premises which it is said have undermined the licensing objectives. The applicant has requested for the review to be held in exempt business due to ongoing criminal investigations.
