As per minute 720 of the Environment Committee on 19.03.24 delegated authority was given to the Director of Environment & Communities to award the Combined Cleansing Services Contract following the procurement strategy as outlined in the report.

Reasons for the decision:

The procurement of the contract was supported by Hampshire County Council and followed procurement regulations. Following evaluation of tenders, the bidder with the best price per quality point score is awarded the contract. The award of the contract will be notified to bidders w/c 17.03.25 and a 10 day standstill period will be observed. The contract will then be prepared and executed under the Council’s seal under the delegated authority of the Director of Environment & Communities.
